2018 Washington Affordable Housing Management Convention

Washington Affordable Housing Management Convention features a full schedule of insightful and informative programs. The event brings together Affordable Housing Professionals and creates a unique opportunity for education and interaction.

In the new era of regulatory reforms and budget sequestration, your voice as an affordable housing professional is more important than ever. The Washington Affordable Housing Management Convention is the place to get the latest information on legislation, trends, technology and more in the multifamily industry.  The convention provides the opportunity to connect with affordable housing professionals from across the state and continues to be our premier training program for affordable housing professionals! The convention will take place April 24-25 at the Spokane Convention Center in Spokane, Washington.

The Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA WA) and the Affordable Rural Housing Convention (ARHC) are pleased to offer scholarships to their members who would otherwise be unable to attend. The scholarships apply to the convention fees, including full registration.
The process for applying for scholarship funds is simple.
  • Complete the scholarship application and submit it prior to March 9, 2018.
  • Attach a 1 page letter describing your financial need and the benefits you or your organization would receive by attending the 2018 Washington Affordable Housing Management Convention.
Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by close of business on March 16, 2018.
Applicants meeting criteria, but not receiving a scholarship will be eligible for the early bird registration.

This is a need based scholarship.  Applicants should have extremely limited financial resources or work with an organization that has extremely limited financial resources.  This can be full or 1 day registration.

Apply for the 2018 Convention Scholarship

Please note:  Late or incomplete applications will be disqualified. • Awarded scholarships belong to the property, not the person.  If the recipient leaves employment, a representative of the property must contact us before April 12 to transfer the scholarship to another person from that property.  Otherwise, the scholarship cannot be transferred or shared.

Scholarships do not cover parking, gas, mileage, travel, food, or hotel/lodging expenses.
