Both the Affordable Housing Management Association of Washington (AHMA) and the Affordable Rural Housing Council (ARHC) hold their annual meetings during the convention.  The election of board members takes place in both of these meetings.

2017 AHMA Annual Meeting

In accordance with the Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Affordable Housing Management Association (AHMA) of Washington and under the applicable sections of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW):

OFFICIAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF: The annual meeting of the membership will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Doubletree Hotel in SeaTac, WA; and

OFFICIAL NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN OF:

Nominations are being sought to fill NINE (9) seats on the Board of Directors, the terms for which expire this year. The newly-elected Directors will join SEVEN (7) other Directors (or their replacements appointed by the Board of Directors) who were elected to two-year terms last year, in 2016.

Currently, nine (9) incumbent Board members whose terms are expiring are:
• Colleen Carr, Allied Residential, Renton;
• Connie Devaney, Kawabe Memorial House, Seattle;
• Michelle Hawley, Bellwether Housing, Seattle; Secretary;
• Leslie Hodson, Compass Health, Everett;
• Steven Judd, Finney Neill CPAs, Seattle; Treasurer;
• Doug Repman, Quantum Management Services, Inc., Lynnwood;
• Keven Ruf, Catholic Community Services of Western Washington, Seattle;
• Karen Sexton, Indigo Real Estate Services, Marysville; and
• Jennifer Wood, Cambridge Management, Inc., Tacoma, Past President.

These seven Board members were elected last year, and have one year remaining to serve:
• Billie Abers, Capitol Hill Housing, Seattle; President;
• Holly Anderson, Catholic Charities-Yakima;
• Kathy Chaussee, Westwood Management & Development, Redmond;
• Glori Houston, Catholic Charities-Spokane;
• Elsie Janson, Pike Place Market PDA, Seattle,
• Spencer Anderson, United Marketing; Seattle;
• Sheila King, Multifamily Affordable Properties, Tacoma;
represents the Associate Members and is a non-voting member of the Board


Board seats can only be filled by, and nominations can only come from, Members in Good Standing. Nominations may come from the floor at the Annual Meeting.

2017 ARHC Annual Meeting

Notice of Annual Meeting. In accordance with Article IX, Section 9.3 of our Amended and Restated Bylaws, and in accordance with the applicable sections of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), this is to notify you that the ANNUAL MEETING of the organization will be held at 2:45 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Doubletree Hotel in SeaTac, WA.

Call for Nominations.

The four (4) Directors whose terms are expiring are:
