NAHMA HUD Update: HUD announces grant to remediate lead-based painthazards
February 9, 2017
This week, HUD announced that it is making grants available to help eliminate lead-based paint hazards and other housing-related health and safety-hazards. HUD expects to make approximately 32 awards to States, local governments and the private sector through HUD’s Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Program and Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Program. The actual number of awards made will depend on the amount Congress appropriates in the FY17 budget and other factors.
