Hello, Affordable Housing Vaccine Outreach Partners!

Thank you for your previous participation and feedback earlier this year as we focused on our initial rollout of COVID-19 vaccination awareness and outreach.

We’re now pivoting to a subsequent phase focusing on a very important and precious resource – our children!

Now that at least one vaccine (with the others likely soon to follow) has been approved for children age 5-11, we want to make sure you’re aware of resources to help make that happen.

As before, we have a special relationship with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in your area to help make sure all resources are available to help your residents get their children vaccinated.

If you need assistance identifying the FQHC partner in your area, or if you’d like to talk about organizing a vaccine clinic at your property, or about transportation to vaccine sites, please let us know!

Here are some information resources you might find helpful, and we’d be more than happy to follow-up if you have any questions:

  • Care-a-Van (WA State Dept. of Health)

The Dept. of Health (DOH) is working with community partners to increase vaccine access.

Non-profit community-based organizations and state- or federally recognized Tribes may be eligible for a grant of up to $5,000 to support a Care-a-Van event.

We really want to get the word out and to help families get their children vaccinated; please let me know if you have any questions.  Thx, JD
