The Specialist in Housing Credit Management® (SHCM®) certification has been developed by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) especially for management professionals involved with properties developed and operated under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The SHCM is designed by management professionals for management professionals to ensure they have attained the knowledge, experience and competence required to excel in the housing credit property management industry.
The course is broken up into 4 webinar sessions. Each webinar will last for approximately three hours, including a question-and-answer period for attendees.
The cost for the course including the SHCM exam $449 for members $599 for non-members; this does not include the $110 SHCM Application Fee. Individual webinars can be purchased at $109 each, the SHCM Exam can be purchased individually for $150.
Participants will receive course materials in a pdf format prior to the first webinar sessions. Participants will have 90 business days to sit for the exam upon the conclusion of the webinar series.
Already have your SHCM? Sign up for any of the webinars individually to earn your 6 hours of continuing education required each year to renew your certification.
