AHMA of Washington Code of Conduct

All individuals who exhibit, work, attend or take part in any AHMA of Washington training, including the Annual Convention, are required to behave in accordance with this Code of Conduct (the “Code of Conduct”). AHMA Leadership reserves the right to deny entry or remove from an event any person who, in AHMA Leadership’s sole and absolute discretion, behaves or threatens to behave in a manner which is in violation of this Code of Conduct, or the AHMA Policies referenced below.

LET US KNOW
We are committed to providing a safe and reliable means for attendees and others to report concerns they may have about conduct at any AHMA event.

NO DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR
Always behave in a respectful manner at AHMA events. That means no running, no cutting in line, no use of foul language, no screaming or yelling, and no encouraging disruptive behavior from others. Please treat the facility with respect and do not litter or deface property.

NO WEAPONS
AHMA has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for weapons of any kind.

NO HARASSMENT
AHMA has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind.

NO DRUGS
Illegal drugs and other illegal substances will not be tolerated at AHMA events. This includes any medication that has not been legally obtained, is not being used in its intended dosage or for its intended purpose.

NO SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted at AHMA events. This includes cigarettes, vape pens and marijuana. Please use the designated smoking areas.

NO THEFT OR VIOLENCE
Everyone at AHMA events is entitled to expect health and safety. Theft and fighting or violence of any kind (including verbal threats of violence) are explicitly prohibited and may result in notification of security and police.

NO ALCOHOL OUTSIDE OF DESIGNATED AREAS
Alcohol may not be brought into AHMA events. Anyone found consuming alcohol outside of designated areas will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Additionally, no one under the age of 21 may consume alcohol at AHMA events.
